Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key parts, was another hit movie. However, it has been criticized for glorifying violence and toxic masculinity. Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Ram Gopal Varma defended the Vanga movie when it received harsh criticism. There are now reports that the kissing scene between the two actors during the climax fight scene will be included in the OTT version.
Bobby Deol Talked About The Kissing Scene
Thirteen days have passed since the movie’s premiere, and nonetheless, images and videos from various moments have appeared online from time to time. Following the disclosure of Triptii Dimri’s daring sequences, Deol has revealed something startling yet intriguing regarding a scene that was cut out.

Bobby Deol said, “See I said yes before he (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) could even narrate it (Abrar’s role) to me because I knew whatever he was going to tell me was going to be amazing.”
He added, “And when he (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) started talking to me about the characters, he said ‘There are these two brothers, they want to kill each other, but there’s a love that they have for each other. I’m going to shoot a climax sequence with a song playing in the background, which is about love’… He said, ‘You’re fighting, and you suddenly kiss him, and then you don’t give up, and he kills you’. But he removed the kiss. There was a kiss. I think it might come on the uncut Netflix version. Then he (Sandeep) said, ‘You are mute’. After saying all this, he said, ‘You’re mute’. I was like okay.”
Everyone knows that the original length of Animal was three hours and fifty-one minutes. Due to scheduling constraints, Sandeep Reddy Vanga trimmed the movie’s duration by thirty minutes, for a final runtime of three hours and twenty-one minutes. Bobby Deol recently disclosed in an interview that the filmmaker removed a kissing sequence that he and Ranbir Kapoor shared. Pretty interesting, huh?

Bobby Deol disclosed, “These two brothers have a love for each other, but they also want to kill each other,” in an interview with The Quint. I plan to film the climax sequence as a love-themed song plays in the background. “You’re fighting, and all of a sudden you kiss him. Then, you don’t give up, and he kills you,” he continued. But he took the kiss-off. A kiss was given. Bobby Deol went on to say that the uncensored Netflix version is available for viewing.
He also talked candidly about lying undressed on top of Ranbir Kapoor during that same interview. He said that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had urged him to strike RK and lie on top of him during their scene-practice sessions. He went on to say that Vanga came up with the idea for the sequence in which he unzipped to give his character a “alpha thing.”
