The talented and charismatic Jennie of BLACKPINK has made history once again with her solo debut song “SOLO”. The catchy and empowering track, which was released on November 12, 2018, has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 93, making it the highest-ranking song by a female K-pop soloist ever.

Jennie is not only the first female K-pop soloist to enter the Hot 100, but also the third K-pop soloist overall, following PSY and CL. She is also the second BLACKPINK member to achieve this feat, after Rosé’s “On The Ground” peaked at No. 70 earlier this year.

“SOLO” has been a huge success both domestically and internationally, topping various music charts and earning numerous accolades. The song has also amassed over 700 million views on YouTube, making it the most-viewed music video by a K-pop female soloist.
