‘Rocky Handsome’ Review and box-office collections prediction

The Hindi movie “Rocky Handsome” starring John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, and Nishikant Kamat is set to release this Friday on MArch 25, 2016.

The film is a loose adaptation of the Korean film “The Man from Nowhere“. The story revolves around a man (John Abraham) who takes revenge against the drug mafia after they take away an 8-year-old girl to whom he is close to.

T-Series distribute the film Produced by J.A Entertainment.

Shruti Haasan plays the role John’s wife. A seven-year-old child actress named Diya plays also plays an important character in the movie.

When John was recently asked in an interview with the India Times, about why the word ‘Handsome’ is there in the title; he said.

“‘Handsome’ because you realize the little girl keeps calling him handsome. And then this chain of events happens in the course of the film where you realize his code name is Rocky.

“But his real name is Kabir Ahlawat. For me, Kabir is a very lucky name… Jism, Dhoom, even Dishoom.

“It’s not intentional. But we just felt Kabir was a very agnostic kind of a name. Which is why I also like it.”

The movie is expected to do good collections as there are no other big movies will release on that day.
