'Bhimaa' Telugu action film Ott release date revealed; Gopichand dons double role!

‘Bhimaa’ is a Telugu language film with intense action drama. The film is a directorial work of Harsha and produced by K.K. Radhamohan. Though the film hit theatres on March 8, 2024, it will be released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar for Telugu film lovers who might have missed it on the big screen or want to rewatch it from their homes comfortably.
The film will air on April 5, 2024.

Plot

The story talks about a local smuggler, Bhavani (played by Mukesh Tiwari), who engages in illegal activities at the Parusharam Temple in Mahendragiri and even keeps the police force in check.

Next comes a daunting cop named Bhimaa (played by Gopichand), who gets transferred to Mahendragiri. He commits to put an end to Bhavani’s illicit acts but falls for a girl named Vidya.

Though the plot might sound like an original crime action drama, spiritual elements are also added to it. Gopichand, who plays the role of Bhimaa, has a dual role. He also dons the character of Ramaa, Bhimaa’s estranged brother.

There is also a secret behind the closed doors of a Shiva temple and the Ayurvedic practitioner Ravindra Verma’s quest for a magical herb that can bring the dead back to life!

Gopichand slayed in his roles, and the fast-paced narrative of the film kept the audience on their tip-toes. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur.

Actors Gopichand, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Malvika Sharma can be seen in lead roles. Nassar, Naresh, Poorna, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Mukesh Tiwari, Srinivas Rao, Chammak Chandra, Venkatesh, Cheluvaraj, Roller Raghu, Niharika, and Rohini can be seen as supporting characters.
