Film producer Boney Kapoor found himself at the center of controversy following a recent interaction with actress Priyamani at the screening of his film, the upcoming Hindi movie “Maidaan.”
An online video shows Kapoor greeting Priyamani, who stars on the red carpet in the film. However, how Kapoor placed his hand on her back and waist has been widely criticized as inappropriate.

Social media erupted with comments condemning Kapoor’s actions. Many called his behavior “creepy” and “disrespectful.” One user commented, “There’s a way to greet someone without making them uncomfortable. This is not it!” Another echoed the sentiment, stating, “Absolutely disgusting behavior. Does Boney Kapoor not understand personal space?”

This isn’t the first time Kapoor has faced accusations of inappropriate physical contact. Previous incidents involving actresses Urvashi Rautela and Gigi Hadid have also sparked similar criticism.
Priyamani’s Silence
Priyamani has yet to comment on the situation, leaving many to speculate about her reaction to Kapoor’s touch.
In “Maidaan”, she plays the role of the wife of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who Ajay Devgn plays.
In a recent interview, Priyamani talked about her role in “Maidaan” and how she prepared for it. She said she was very excited to be a part of the film and had a great time working with Ajay Devgn. She also said she learned a lot about football while working on the film.
