Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has worked with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in two films, has supposedly made a comment on the poster of the latter’s movie as “regressive” on Twitter.
This outraged Mahesh’s fans who came in hordes commenting on Twitter attacking the actress to get lost. Her supposed boyfriend, actor Siddharth, who was supporting her, was also not spared.

Samantha made a comment on Twitter about Mahesh Babu after seeing the picture of his movie ‘1: Nenokkadine’.
On her Twitter page, the actress tweeted,
Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive,but it’s point is actually that it is deeply regressive

Agree or disagree all you want. The moment you question anyone’s right to an opinion, well that just makes you a bully, a terrorist even.
While Mahesh Babu Fans trended the hashtag “GetLostSamanthaAndSiddharth”, Samantha fans came in support trending “WeLoveSamantha”.
The trend was started on Dec 17 and was seen in top trends on India Twitter, it was still trending today also. What is interesting is that some fans have alleged that ‘We love Samantha’ is a paid Twitter trend”.
Some fans pointed out that Samantha herself became popular doing some regressive roles, so how can she term other movies as regressive.
Samantha fans commented that the actress did not mention the movie so it may be any other movie also. However the actress did not comment on the issue further.
