Divorce rumors fly through as Priyanka Chopra removes ‘Chopra Jonas’ from her Instagram biodata

Bollywood/Hollywood actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra Jonas removed her surname from her social media accounts. She changed her username on Twitter and Instagram to just ‘priyankachopra’.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married 3 years ago in Jodhpur. And since then, they have become one of the internet’s most favorite couples. But this incident left fans devastated, as many feared a divorce. And a divorce wouldn’t be so much shocking either as since 2021 has broken up many celeb sweethearts: Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik being the latest.

People started saying that things weren’t good between the couple, different rumors spread throughout the internet for a whole day. While Priyanka Chopra is yet to drop an official statement. Her mother cleared the air earlier today. While speaking to a leading TV news channel, she reportedly said, “It’s all rubbish, don’t spread rumours.”

Also, earlier this week, Nick Jonas thanked his wife in front of the press for her constant support during his battle with diabetes. Another friend of the star also clarified to a news portal that the couple was very much together and the name drop was only for social media.

But the couple looks quite happy together!

The couple moved home in Los Angeles recently and also celebrated their first Diwali in the new home together.

Sharing photos on Instagram, Priyanka Chopra had written, “Our first Diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner @nickjonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full”.

So, at the moment, fans may rest at ease…A divorce is highly unlikely.
