Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ Review, Public Response and Box-Office

The Ranveer Singh-starrer “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” is indicated to be a box office failure, with the film dropping over 50% on Day 6. Based on initial figures, the YRF film has grossed between Rs. 1.60 and 1.80 crores, bringing the total to Rs. 13.70 crores.

The reduction has occurred across the board, which was hardly predicted given the film’s poor reception. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to argue that the crowd had little curiosity in watching this social comedy.

The estimates from Wednesday suggest that the scenario will continue to be unfavorable. The reduction would have been substantially greater if not for the overlapping holiday of Budh Purnima on Monday, which aided several areas.

Without the holiday, the receipts would be below 1.50 crore. By the end of this week, the film will be out of theatres, with earnings in the figures. It’s Ranveer Singh’s second straight failure, but the aim still is for him to emerge with Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.

The picture was dull at its weekend box office, with only a slight increase on Saturday and Sunday, which effectively killed the film. It will profit less than Rs. 20 crore at the end of its release, making it the worst-running Ranveer Singh feature to date. While all eyes were on narrative, the picture falls short on that aspect as well.
