JAXA Scientists transfer wireless power

A giant leap has been made by the scientists in Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) as they successfully transmitted wireless power through 170 feet of air.

Through this new development, the concept of generating energy from space became a one step closer mission which may become a reality in the near future.

As per the JAXA scientists, they have successfully obtained power with extreme accuracy for the first time. The team of scientists and researchers beamed 1.8 kilowatts of electricity with precision over 50 meters, and this electricity is enough and more to power an electronic tea kettle.

The scientists are now working hard to make the concept of orbital solar farms a reality.

The researchers initially converted the electronic signals to microwaves, and then they beam to a remote receiver. Finally, these microwaves will be converted back to electrons again.

This is the first time that scientists have been able to move electrons over any appreciable distance with such impeccable precision and accuracy.

The concept of Solar energy harvesting has always been the hottest research topic among many incredible space teams all over the world.

Scientists are now planning to install massive solar panels in the space, and after that the electronic signals will be transferred to the earth in the form of microwaves.

This system of energy transmission and production has umpteen numbers of advantages when compared to traditional energy generating systems.

Solar space panels will not be affected by the cycles of day, night or climate.
