There are reports that a film is being developed to depict the arrest of Raj Kundra, who is married to Shilpa Shetty. Raj is said to be involved with the project.
The film will focus on Raj Kundra’s 63 days in jail following his arrest by the Mumbai Police on July 19, 2021. He was accused of being involved in the production and distribution of pornographic content through an app called Hotshots.
As per the reports, it has been mentioned that Raj Kundra himself will be acting in the film. The movie aims to present Raj Kundra’s experience during his time at the overcrowded Arthur Road Jail. The director’s identity has not been disclosed yet, but Raj Kundra will have creative involvement in various aspects, including production and the script. The film is expected to be released soon, offering a comprehensive account of Raj Kundra’s journey from the initial allegations to media coverage, time spent in jail, and eventual release on bail.
“The film will present an account of all that Raj Kundra experienced through his tenure in one of most over-crowded Jail – Arthur Road Jail. The director’s name has been kept under wraps for now, but Raj Kundra will be creatively involved in all aspects – from production to script,”
Some individuals believe that the film is a tactic employed by the Kundra Family to justify Raj Kundra’s actions. Shilpa Shetty addressed the situation on Instagram, expressing the challenges she faced due to rumors, accusations, and unwarranted scrutiny from the media and critics.
“Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front. There have been a lot of rumours and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family,”
Raj Kundra himself had previously commented on the arrest through social media, expressing confidence that justice would be served, and the truth would come out.
“One year today… released from Arthur Road. It’s a matter of time. Justice will be served! The truth will be out soon! Thank you well-wishers and a bigger thank you to the trollers you make me stronger (folded hands emoji).”
