Richa Chadha, a renowned Hindi movie actress known for her roles in films like “Gangs of Wasseypur”, “Fukrey,” and “Masaan”, is all set to make her international debut with the movie ‘Aaina.’
Having captured the hearts of her Indian fans with her exceptional acting skills over the past decade, Richa Chadha is now venturing into the global film industry with great enthusiasm.
‘Aaina’, an exciting collaboration between Indian and British cinema, features Richa Chadha and popular British actor William Moseley in the lead roles. While the makers are yet to unveil the first look and teaser of this highly-anticipated international venture, a behind-the-scenes photo of Richa Chadha and William Moseley on the sets of ‘Aaina’, taken during their shoot in London, has surfaced online. In the photo, Richa is seen standing beside William, dressed in a blue and brown outfit, while he wears a white shirt.
Directed by Markus Meedt, who has previously directed acclaimed short films like Shelter and Anonymous, ‘Aaina’ explores the realms of drama and delves into the profound consequences of the cycle of violence, both within cultures and on individuals. The movie also portrays the gripping effects of post-traumatic stress disorder. While a significant portion of the film will be shot in the UK, some scenes will also be filmed in India.
In addition to ‘Aaina’, Richa Chadha is also part of the upcoming movie Fukrey 3, where she will reprise her popular character of Bholi Punjaban. Moreover, she will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly-anticipated web series, Heeramandi, alongside Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Sehgal, and Fardeen Khan in a pivotal role. Heeramandi marks Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut in the digital space.
