The Pokémon Company (TPC) and Niantic announced the launch of Pokémon GO, the globally popular Hindi mobile gaming app.

The news comes as India celebrated Indian Heroes Day yesterday (September 14). Hindi is the sixth language in Asia and the 15th language worldwide in which the game is localized.

Many Pokémon’s names have been changed to Hindi to strengthen the user experience.

Pokémon, a video game and entertainment series loved by millions of fans of all ages around the world, has brought people together since its release in 2019.
