Following reports of a sex racket in a college, the Odisha government launched an investigation. The disturbing allegations from Science College in Hinjili, where it is purported that a sex racket has been functioning during nighttime hours for the past two years, have prompted the Higher Education Department to order the Berhampur Regional Director to investigate.

Local media sources state that after conferring with the pupils, the appropriate official has started the physical verification process and is getting ready to submit the report.
The Principal is willing to cooperate with any inquiry and has refuted the baseless charges. Furthermore, numerous charges have been discovered throughout the state, particularly in Berhampur, against college principals.
Additionally, according to local media sources, the Higher Education Department has directed relevant officials in the regions of Sambalpur, Balasore, and Bhubaneswar to conduct an investigation. The charges center on widespread corruption in the acquisition of student furnishings and athletic equipment. These accusations have been made against the individual lecturers or principals.
