Live: PM Modi's 26-Km Bangalore Roadshow Attracts Over 10 Lakh People

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Karnataka for the final leg of his election campaign ahead of the May 10 assembly polls.

He will hold a 26-km long mega roadshow in Bengaluru today, covering 13 constituencies in the city. The roadshow will start from Brigade Millennium of JP Nagara and end at Maramma Circle in Malleshwaram.

The BJP expects over 10 lakh people to participate in the roadshow, which will showcase the party’s strength and popularity in the state. The roadshow will also feature cultural programmes, musical bands, and slogans supporting the BJP and its chief ministerial candidate Basavaraj Bommai.

PM Modi To Address Two Rallies In Bengaluru

Apart from the roadshow, PM Modi will also address two public meetings in Bengaluru today. The first one will be held at Palace Grounds at 4 pm, where he will interact with women and youth groups. The second one will be held at National College Grounds at 6 pm, where he will address a massive gathering of party workers and supporters.

PM Modi To Hold Another Roadshow And Four Rallies Tomorrow

PM Modi’s campaign blitzkrieg will continue tomorrow, as he will hold another roadshow and four rallies in different parts of Karnataka. The second roadshow will be held between Kempegowda statue at Thippasandra and Trinity circle, covering about 10 km. The four rallies will be held at Tumakuru, Shivamogga, Belagavi, and Hubballi.

PM Modi’s Roadshow Timings Changed Due To NEET Exams

The BJP had earlier planned to hold the 26-km roadshow on Sunday, but changed it to Saturday due to the NEET exams scheduled on Sunday. PM Modi, who pays special attention to students’ welfare, asked the party to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to any student going to the exam centre. The police have been directed to facilitate the movement of students showing their hall tickets.
