Bollywood actor and Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is all set to unveil the trailer of much awaited movie “Dhoom 3” on October 30, 2013. The movie is also going to be the first ever Indian film to release on the IMAX format.
The release of trailer being so close to Diwali festive occasion reminds of similar promotional strategy by Aamir Khan for his directorial debut “Taare Zameen Par”, for which the trailer was released during Diwali.
However along with Diwali, Aamir seems to be targeting “Krrish 3” which is releasing on November 1 during Diwali.
Aamir is known to steal the spotlight from other actor’s movies. When ShahRukh Khan’s movie “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” was released, Aamir Khan’s promotions of “Ghajini” took the spotlight.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, “Dhoom 3” stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif along with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in lead roles.
The movie is scheduled for a Chrismas release on December 20, 2013 in 2D and IMAX formats. The movie is directed and written by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had earlier directed “Tashan” and written for “Dhoom” series.
The trailer launch is going to be a star studded event with Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif flying back to India to attend the event.
