According to Santa Barbara News-Press, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to move to a new property, as their home doesn’t “properly accommodate” them.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, reports have emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could move from Montecito, California, to the Hope Ranch community.
The couple moved to Montecito in March 2020 with their first-born son Archie, while their second kid, Lilibet, was born in California.
Looking for a new home
As reported by Daily Mail, the Hope Ranch community boasts a members-only country club, a golf club, tennis courts, picnic grounds, and a network of equestrian trails.
In his new book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, writer Tom Bower claimed that Harry and Meghan were frustrated by “racist” remarks allegedly made by Queen Consort Camilla about Archie before he was born.
“According to Harry, someone speculated about what his future child would ‘look like.’ In one version, Camilla remarked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair?'” the author wrote.
Meanwhile, royal biographer Angela Levin told the talk show ‘Lorraine’ that Prince Harry allegedly mistreated Camilla.
“I decided that somehow I had to rebalance things,” Levin said of her book ‘Camilla.’
“One was ‘The Crown,’ which I felt had been cruel to her, and the other was Prince Harry, who had said nasty things about her, too.”
