October still has a few Social Security Payments left to give to American residents; one of those bills will be distributed next Thursday. These payments will be for all those who receive Supplemental Security Income and their Social Security that has already been paid this month.

Individuals whose birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of the month will get their payments on the second Wednesday of the month. Residents whose birthday falls between the 11th and the 20th of the month get paid on the third Wednesday. Finally, those whose birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of the month get paid on the fourth Wednesday. Bills can go up to $1,682 per recipient.

It’s time to explain how the timing of these payments works. Over an upcoming couple of months, everybody needs to keep a watchful eye on their mailbox for a specific letter about their Social Security benefits increase for 2023. It should come during December for everybody. This is the most significant benefit of its kind since 1981.

If you get this letter in your mailbox, it should have details about your benefit rate for the upcoming year.
