E-bike Discounts In Austin Will Increase In January

As per a memo from municipal authorities, Austin intends to increase the present subsidies for individuals and organizations that buy E-bikes. With combined refunds from Austin Energy (AE) and The Austin Transportation Department, the maximum rebate amount for a single purchase of an e-bike would climb between $600 & $1300. (ATD).

The ATD rebate’s maximum would rise from $400 to $800 per unit, although group, multi-bike sales would not qualify. Most electric two-wheel vehicles, including mopeds & motorcycles, will also be eligible in addition to E-bikes. According to the memo, city authorities may change the details of the refund expansion in response to community comments.

The Excluded Worker Stimulus Ends

The final installment of payments for excluded workers in New York has been sent. In 2022, the Excluded Workers Fund was increased to help unregistered workers who were not qualified to receive government stimulus money. The state surplus of $2 billion was allotted for undocumented workers who made less than $26,206 in 2020.

The entire amount of the money has now been used. The initiative “exemplifies the ideals of New York State and our willingness to look out for our neighbors during the most difficult of times,” according to Roberta Reardon, commissioner Department of Labor of the New York State reports Sun.
