In the new year, many states have presently made changes. The minimum wage in Florida is $11, but on September 30, 2023, it will increase to $12. The minimum wage in Illinois is currently $12, but on January 1, 2023, it will increase to $13.

Stimulus Checks For Healthcare Workers

New York revealed late last year that it was expanding its Healthcare Worker Bonus Program eligibility. Security officers, supporting housing experts, home health care managers, and peace officers are now included in the program’s eligibility list. For eligible New York healthcare employees who have completed up to two six-month “vesting periods” between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2022, the bonuses, which have a maximum value of $3,000, are available.

Low-income families in Madison, Wisconsin, receive guaranteed money from the Madison Forward Fund. Beginning in October 2022, payments of $500 per month will be made until the end of 2023. Out of about 3,000 applications, 155 families were chosen randomly. People must be Madison residents, have at least one kid, and have a family income that is less than 200 % of the federal income level to be eligible, reports Sun.
