Apple Releases New Pride Edition Sport Band for Apple Watch: Price and Features

Apple announced a new Pride Edition Sport Band for the Apple Watch Series 3 and later on May 10, 2023. The band is available in two sizes, 41mm, and 45mm, and is priced at $49.99.

The band features a design inspired by the original Pride flag, with the rainbow colors arranged in a stripe pattern. The band is made of a durable, lightweight fluoroelastomer material that is sweat- and water-resistant. It also features a pin-and-tuck closure for a secure fit.

Apple Announces Pride Edition Sport Band For Watch 3 Series And Above

Apple says that the band is designed to “celebrate the ongoing movement to protect and advance equality for LGBTQ+ communities around the world.” The company has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and has released various Pride-themed products over the years.

The Pride Edition Sport Band is available to order now from Apple’s website and will be available in Apple Stores beginning May 24.

Pricing and Availability

  • The Pride Edition Sport Loop and Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop are available for INR3900.
  • The new Pride Edition bands are available to order today from apple.com/in and in the Apple Store app, and will be available at Apple Store locations beginning May 26. The Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop is also coming soon to nike.com.
  • The new Pride watch face will be available today, and requires Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 8.6, and iPhone 6s or later running iOS 15.5.
  • Both the Pride Edition Sport Loop and the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop are compatible with any Apple Watch.
