Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello Put an End to Their Marriage: Politely Ask for Respect and Privacy

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have decided to end their marriage after being together for seven years. This news doesn’t come as a surprise since rumours about their relationship troubles had already started circulating. Sofia was seen enjoying her holidays alone and without her wedding ring, which raised suspicions.

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello tied the knot in November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida. Signs of trouble began when Sofia celebrated her 51st birthday in Italy without Joe, and she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring. On the other hand, Joe posted a throwback picture of Sofia on social media with a birthday message in Spanish.

In a statement given to Page Six, the couple described their divorce as a difficult decision. They asked for respect and privacy during this challenging time as they navigate their new lives apart.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,”said the actress.

Reports suggest that Sofia and Joe have been growing apart for some time and have been spending time apart to think about their future. The last time they were seen together was in Hoboken, N.J., when Sofia visited Joe on the set of his new project.

Sofia Vergara is known for her roles in movies like New Year’s Eve, Chef, Bottom Of The 9th, The Female Brain, The Con Is On, Bent, Machete Kills, Wild Card, and Madea Goes To Jail. She has also been a judge on America’s Got Talent. Joe Manganiello started his acting career with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, playing the character of Flash Thompson. He has appeared in TV shows like True Blood and How I Met Your Mother, and movies such as Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, What To Expect When You’re Expecting, Sabotage, Justice League, and Rampage.
