Kourtney Kardashian Embraces Unexpected Parenthood Path

Kourtney Kardashian expressed her excitement about her upcoming baby boy on Instagram, sharing a picture of her pregnant silhouette in a red string bikini. In her caption, Kardashian conveyed her deep feelings for her future child, describing the experience of carrying him inside her as an incredible blessing and joy. This will be her fourth child, but her first with husband Travis Barker.

Barker responded to the post with a comment, calling her the most beautiful. The couple initially attempted IVF to conceive but later chose to explore natural pregnancy options. Kourtney revealed during her family’s reality show, “The Kardashians,” that they had decided to forego IVF and trust in the path that God had planned for them. She stated, “We are officially done with IVF. Although we desire a baby more than anything, I have faith in what God has in store for us. Whether it’s a baby or something else, I believe it will happen.”

Later in the series, Kardashian commented on her choice to quit IVF, saying, “It took a toll on me physically.My health is still impacted because it’s hormones and also mentally, it definitely took a toll. I think being happy is most important and being a good parent to my kids. We are just embracing whatever is meant to be will be.”

In June, Kardashian and Barker made the gender of their unborn son, a boy, public knowledge. Kardashian already has two other sons, Mason, 13, and Reign, 8, whom she had with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. This will be her third son. Penelope, her 10-year-old daughter, is another child she had with Disick.
