Box-Office: SRK's 'Jawan' advance booking gets a terrific response From The US and UAE

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Jawan’ has started breaking box office records already.

The movie is pre-ordered in the United States, and pre-orders are hot. 3,200 tickets were sold for over $50,000 on opening day, although pre-orders are only available at a small venue.

There are 23 days until the movie’s opening and this list shows that it will be a grand opening. The film has reportedly started pre-orders in the UAE as well. Shah Rukh Khan has a big business in UAE. His latest film, Pathaan, starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, crossed Rs 100 three weeks after its release in the UAE and became a local and Gulf hit.

Atlee’s film will be available in Jawan, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, with Arabic and English subtitles in Tamil and Telugu. According to industry sources, there will be four to five performances of “Jawan” in each language.

In the USA, the movie is shown at 2 hours 45 minutes, while in the UAE “Jawan” is shown at 2 hours and 50 minutes. “Jawan” is Shah Rukh Khan’s second movie to be released this year after “Pathaan” which opened with Rs 56 crore and made 543 crore gross at the box office.

The film eventually netted Rs 543.05 and over Rs 1000 crore worldwide upon its release in India.

Which countries shows more hype for ‘Jawan’

A recent report from Bollywood Hungama suggests that the film will not be released overseas in 3D, but only in IMAX and 4DX screen formats. But “Jawan” pre-orders are looking strong in the US, Germany and the Netherlands. It is encouraging that the film is already starting overseas sales.

The movie has been announced on the EMI website and pre-registration has begun for two cinemas in The Haque, Pathé Spuimarkt IMAX and Pathé Ypenburg, and they look huge.
