Meghan Markle Adds Beauty to American Riviera Orchard

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has caused a stir with the announcement of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Initially, the brand seemed focused on homeware and gourmet goodies, but recent trademark filings reveal Meghan has much more in store.
“According to People magazine, the Duchess has filed trademarks for a vast array of products,” says a brand analyst.

“[This includes] cosmetics, home décor, stationery, linens, small kitchen appliances, condiments, yoga equipment, gardening gear and pet accessories…” This unexpected expansion has some comparing Meghan Markle’s venture to Gwyneth Paltrow’s successful Goop brand.

So, what can we expect from American Riviera Orchard?
“The name itself offers some clues,” says a lifestyle blogger. “Santa Barbara, where Meghan resides with her family, is nicknamed the American Riviera. The brand’s focus seems to be on creating a luxurious California lifestyle experience.”
