England face Bangladesh in the 7th Match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, to be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, on October 10, 2023. The match start time is 10:30 AM.

The outfield has been a major concern since the previous match on this ground on Saturday. The outfield was wet and slippery after the overnight rain, making it difficult for the fielders to dive and slide.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Jos Buttler expressed dissatisfaction with yesterday’s outfield condition, calling it ‘poor.’ He said he did not want to risk injury by diving on such a surface.

England’s chances of winning the match will depend largely on the availability of Stokes, who is still recovering from a knee injury. He practiced in the nets for two consecutive days but only faced some gentle deliveries from the support staff and local spinners.

Stokes looked uncomfortable while running and turning, and Buttler confirmed that he is ‘probably unlikely’ to feature in the final match.

England's chances of winning the match will depend largely on the availability of Stokes, who is still recovering from a knee injury.

On the other hand, Bangladesh might opt for an extra spinner if the pitch is similar to the one that assisted them against Afghanistan.

They can bring in Nasum Ahmed, a left-arm spinner, in place of Mahmudullah, who has been struggling with his form and fitness. However, the game will be played on a different surface, which could influence their decision.
