Vladimir Putin ‘losing his grip’? Russian soldier opens fire on his own unit

Ukrainian military intelligence released a wiretap Friday in which two Russian soldiers stationed in Ukraine discussed the killing of a soldier by another soldier.

Ukraine General Intelligence Organization (GUR) voiced over Telegram channel. “It reveals the critical mood of the Russian army,” the GUR wrote to the press, as translated by the Kiev Post provided a graphic and detailed description of the alleged incident within approximately 35 seconds of the search by the GUR.

GUR’s announcement about the alleged killings came weeks after several other reports surfaced describing the harsh conditions of Russian soldiers operating in Ukraine.

In a video posted on social media last week, Russian soldiers announced that they were punished by their commanders for not having equipment for refusing to fight on the Ukrainian front.

War Translated, an independent media outlet that translates war-related information into English, shared a portion of this video on Twitter.

“We are locked in this tomb because we refuse to walk the center line.

We have been sitting here for two days,” said one of the soldiers in the video. One of the soldiers in the video says they won’t be going back to where they said before the “meat grinder” line.

One of the harshest accusations against the Russian military came from Russian General Ivan Popov, who said he was fired after criticizing Moscow’s Ministry of Defense for not getting enough support for its soldiers.

In a voice message posted on Telegram on July 12, Popov even accused top military leaders and Russian Prime Minister Sergei Shoigu of treason for lack of support.

As translated by Russian Independent News, Popov said, “The Ukrainian army was unable to break through our lines at the front, but our top leaders attacked us from behind, brutally cutting our soldiers at the most difficult and painful moment.” Export Medusa.
