Pakistan Cricket Legend Miandad Blasts PCB's 'Lack of Vision,' Praises India's 'World-Class' Cricket Culture

Pakistan cricket legend Javed Miandad has criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) recent decision-making, while praising the approach of the Indian team.

Miandad, who played 124 Tests and 193 ODIs for Pakistan, was particularly critical of the PCB’s decision to appoint Sarfaraz Ahmed as Test team captain. He believes that there are better men than Sarfaraz for the job and that the PCB should have appointed a more experienced captain.

“I am not sure why the PCB has appointed Sarfaraz as captain,” Miandad said. “He is not the right man for the job. He has not been in good form, and he does not have the experience needed to lead the team in Test cricket.”

Miandad also criticized the PCB’s decision to appoint Mickey Arthur as coach of the Pakistan team. He believes that someone other than Arthur is the right man for the job and that the PCB should have appointed a more experienced coach.

“I am not sure why the PCB has appointed Mickey Arthur as coach,” Miandad said. “He is not the right man for the job. He has not been successful in recent years and does not have the experience needed to coach the Pakistan team.”

In contrast, Miandad praised the Indian team’s approach. He believes that the Indian team is playing well and is a force to be reckoned with in world cricket.

“India is playing very well at the moment,” Miandad said. “They have a good team, and they are playing with a lot of confidence. They are a force to be reckoned with in world cricket.”
