‘Lovely Runner’ is an upcoming time-slip romance drama featuring the versatile actress Kim Hye Yoon.

Storyline


The drama is based on a popular web novel that tells the story of a die-hard fan named Im Sol (played by Kim Hye Yoon), who shatters after the death of her favorite star Ru Sun Jae (played by Byun Woo Seok). Unable to bear with this tragic demise, Im Sol travels back in time to save Ru Sun Jae. The drama is penned by Lee Si Eun, the writer of “True Beauty”.

In the stills, we can see Im Sol in 2023 enjoying the concert of her favorite idol, Ru Sun Jae. Im Sol wears a headband with her fan club ID “Run away with Sun Jae on my back” and holds an official light. Another still captures her as a 19-year-old student who travels back to 2008 to save her idol. Will Im Sol gain success on her mission to save her idol?

The production team, while speaking of Kim Hye Yoon, stated – “We cannot think of Im Sol [being portrayed by] anyone other than Kim Hye Yoon. Kim Hye Yoon is creating Im Sol as a dynamic and charming character with her wide acting spectrum that spans various genres.
