The rumors are true: Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios are a couple!
The actress and the NFL player made their first public appearance together at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, confirming their romance after weeks of speculation.
Earle, 28, looked stunning in a silver sequined gown with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit, while Berrios, 26, matched her in a black suit with a silver tie. The pair posed for photos on the red carpet, smiling and holding hands.
Earle and Berrios have been linked since June, when they were spotted having dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant. They also followed each other on Instagram and exchanged flirty comments on each other’s posts.
According to a source close to the couple, they met through mutual friends and hit it off right away.
“They have a lot in common and enjoy each other’s company,” the source told People. “They are both very supportive of each other’s careers and have a lot of fun together.”
Earle is best known for her roles in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy and Amazon’s The Boys, while Berrios plays as a wide receiver for the New York Jets.
The ESPY Awards, which honor the best achievements in sports, were hosted by Anthony Mackie at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City. Some of the winners included Simone Biles, Tom Brady, Naomi Osaka, and Kevin Durant.
